(This part is just embarrassing!)
Give students 15-20 minutes to complete pg.
5-8. Circulate through the room and help
them complete it. Could also write the
answers on the board as they go. Many
students will be confused by the crossword puzzle.
Have students tell you the answers to any
remaining questions.
Teacher asks everyone to stand up. Teacher asks questions pertaining to any
material previously covered. Students
raise their hand if they know, and can sit down if they answer correctly.
Writing Relay. Two teams, students come up to the board and
write one word each. Only objects in the
class can win points. The team that
writes the most words wins.
Review numbers with students, something
like 1, 12, 123, 1,234, 12,345, 123,456, 1,234,567, etc.
Clue game.
Teacher offers three of four clues about certain objects. Teams get points for guessing correctly.
