14th Lesson

• Attendance (5-10 students, TRYING to remember 5 more students every class?)
• Draw a stick figure on the board.  Have students repeat, “This is a boy.”  Call up students to modify drawing with adjectives, “I want a FAT boy,” etc.  Class repeats.
• Practice SBS pg. 37 together.
• 5 min. students practice in pairs.
• SBS pg. 38-39.  Recite patterns.  Do #1 and #2 together.
• 2-3 min.  Students complete.  Discuss answers.
• SBS pg. 40.  Recite and discuss weather outside.  “Is it _____ today?”
• Flashcards/Sports (10).  Say together twice and teacher places on blackboard.
• Team Game.  Teacher draws a mountain on the blackboard, with two figures on either side of it.  One figure is named for someone on the first team, the other figure is named for someone on the second side/team.  There is gold on top of the mountain, and the first team to get to the top becomes rich.
• Teacher reads the following story, students draw.
• -          I am a girl.
• -          I have long hair.
• -          I am jumping.
• -          I am jumping in the classroom.
• -          I see two classmates.
• -          They are tall.
• -          One is drinking cola, one is playing basketball.
